To continue receiving the award students must:
For bachelor degree-seeking students:
- achieve a Cumulative Index (CI) of 3.0/4.0 by the end of the second semester of study and maintain this CI thereafter
- earn passing grade(s) in EAPP courses if they are under the English for Academic Purposes Program
- register for at least 2 courses (6 credits or more) per continuous semesters
- complete their studies at Deree within a period of six continuous years
- be in compliance with all College policies including the Student Conduct Code
For non-degree students:
- achieve a Cumulative Index (CI) of 3.0/4.0 by the end of the first semester of study and maintain this CI thereafter
- earn passing grade(s) in EAPP courses if they are under the English for Academic Purposes Program
- register for at least 2 courses (6 credits or more) per continuous semesters
- complete their studies at Deree within a period of three continuous years
- be in compliance with all College policies including the Student Conduct Code
No application procedure is required for the Deree Merit Scholarship.
